The story started as if a typical Eroica story- the Major's mission... and then the mission coincidentally involved with Eroica...  However it took a very interesting turn, when the painting suddenly "enlightened" Klaus. Life is about making choices... and Klaus started wondering...

I like the ending. An ending and also a beginning. Great work! :)

I think of Klaus and Dorian as people who have a very strong sense of self - they've both decided "I am like this" and until they met each other, they stuck to that come Hell or high water. To me, a self-doubting Klaus is an interesting Klaus.

I really liked the story, not only for being very well-written, but also very in-depth. Most Eroica fics (including my own) mostly concentrate on sex, humor and the love-hate game between Dorian and Klaus. This story stands out because it also raises some serious questions about ideologies and ethics, all the while without being heavy or dull. It is refreshing and stimulating when a story not only entertains us, but also gives us something to think about.

Congrats on an excellent piece of work,

Cheers, Amity33

I'm really pleased you liked it. I enjoy reading stories that explore the characters' psychology and try to do that in my stories if I can. This one was fun to write but not easy to get right. :)
