I got acquainted with From Eroica with love quite recently, but it was love at first sight, I guess. It inspired me to write my very first fanfiction stories, which can also be found on FanFiction.Net . I hope I will be able to write more stories in the future - I have a lot of ideas, but little time to put them in writing.

Nice! Now at last we know where all these pants James is pilfering from Dorian end up! Now, I wonder what would happen if Eroica was the one who happened to find himself in the Major's closet...

Nuclear arms limitation talks, illegal weapons trading, early Christian martyrs, art theft, and learning to see things differently.

I really liked the story, not only for being very well-written, but also very in-depth. Most Eroica fics (including my own) mostly concentrate on sex, humor and the love-hate game between Dorian and Klaus. This story stands out because it also raises some serious questions about ideologies and ethics, all the while without being heavy or dull. It is refreshing and stimulating when a story not only entertains us, but also gives us something to think about.

Congrats on an excellent piece of work,

Cheers, Amity33

Author's Response:

I'm really pleased you liked it. I enjoy reading stories that explore the characters' psychology and try to do that in my stories if I can. This one was fun to write but not easy to get right. :)

I liked this story very much, especially that Dorian and Klaus are very in-character and accepting each other for who they are. Good work!

Author's Response: Thanks for the feedback! More than a year ago, I came across some stuff on the web about the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist, and thought it might have potential to link it somehow to an Eroica story. When I looked at pictures of the works that were stolen, the one I liked most was 'Storm on the Sea of Galilee'. The first bit of the story I wrote was the first draft of the scene with Rainsford. That was back in March 2011. Then I put it in a drawer (or the equivalent on my hard drive) and left it alone for a long time. Thanks for reading and commenting. (And I'm really looking forward to your next instalment in 'The Good Wife'. Your writing is getting better and better all the time, and you have a great comic touch. I can't seem to write comedy.)

I had read this story online a while ago and I really liked it, but I had no idea it was yours! It's great, I especially liked the two closing sentences. In just a few words you depicted perfectly Klaus' trust issues. Great work!

Author's Response:

Glad you liked it :)
The kink meme was really the wrong place for it - it's not vaguely kink. I thought I'd own up to being the author and post it over here.
